Hello!
I'm Kat Rose (they/them), a multidisciplinary freelance illustrator and illustration graduate from Leeds Arts University. I work as a teacher & technician. Studio Greenly is the eco collective I founded and creatively direct. We collaborate on creative projects and host local events in the Leeds/Bradford area.
I work with themes of nature, the environment and activism, with a particular focus on plants, animals and fungi. My work is print based, striving to use eco friendly, recycled and vegan materials wherever possible. I have recently been fascinated by ceramics and I am exploring this medium using Buff Stoneware, APC and recycled clay. I also make textiles from scrap fabrics. I am a proud studio holder at Yarn Studios in Shipley. I am now a part of Yorkshire Queer Creatives, a directory for queer makers up north!
In my spare time, I enjoy foraging for mushrooms and baking yummy vegan treats. I (sometimes!) stream on Twitch (shroomiekat).
