Orange, Earth. Collage + Photoshop.

Here is a few of the poems I have made over the past year or so. I thought you might enjoy reading through!

ORANGE, EARTH

Oranges and lemons,

Grow no more,

On this dying Earth,

We killed long ago.

THE FLY

You always come and want to stay,

But as soon as we see you,

You fly away,

A little buzz and a knock on the glass,

You’re not as smart as you are fast.

ALONE

Do you ever feel so alone,

That your chest begins to hurt,

A weight starts crushing your back?

You feel empty,

Bitter,

Maybe I’m better off alone.

GUM

I chew,

I chew,

I chew because I’m anxious,

I chew,

I chew,

I chew so much it hurts my jaw,

I chew,

I chew,

I need to stop.

CURL

Sometimes I feel so alone,

Even when I’m around others,

I’m disconnected,

I just want to curl up in bed.

WANDER

I should read,

The books that stack my shelves,

I’m making excuses,

To lose myself in a book again,

And take my mind wandering,

That is what it means to be free.
